A place to begin.
Installed games in one place, new downloads added automatically, and settings ready before play.

SAMSUNG / GAMING
I connected Samsung’s gaming experience across Galaxy tablets and live streaming: a place to start, unobtrusive controls and a way to share.

Game Live downloads on Google Play within six months.
Game Launcher daily active use on tablet, one month from launch.
My retained records omit the DAU denominator; this percentage is not a retention rate.
01 / THE ECOSYSTEM
The thread was control: organise before play, adjust during it and share without extra administration.
Installed games in one place, new downloads added automatically, and settings ready before play.
Reduce interruptions and accidental navigation; capture screenshots or record gameplay.
Prepare a stream, connect with viewers and return to what you’ve shared.
I designed tablet versions of Game Launcher and Game Tools, and took Game Live from concept through execution and beyond.
I worked with HQ in South Korea and development teams through prototype testing and iteration, including translation and regional adaptation.
02 / THE TABLET EXPERIENCE
I researched the tablet value proposition and developed concepts through testing and iteration, rather than simply resizing the phone experience.
BEFORE THE GAME
Game Launcher on Galaxy Tab S3 combined games with Power Saver, Game Broadcasting, Mute Games and Ongoing Calls modes.
DURING THE GAME
The overlay kept notification controls, touch and navigation locks, screenshots and recording available during gameplay.
The tablet UX sat alongside Vulkan graphics and Galaxy Game Pack titles, available through Exclusive Game Offers in Galaxy Apps’ For Galaxy section. My contribution was UX, not the graphics API or game design.
I coordinated UX deliverables with HQ, tested and iterated prototypes, and supported translation and content adaptation across regions.
03 / GAME LIVE
Game Live streamed to Twitch, Facebook and YouTube. I designed setup, adjustments and viewer connection without controls taking over.
01 / PREPARE
I gathered installed games to avoid a separate search, with chat, audio and profile settings ready before streaming.
02 / ADJUST
I kept chat, microphone, game audio and profile controls accessible while live, with likes, views and comments for audience feedback.
03 / CONNECT
I made live comments movable and easy to minimise with a swipe, so the overlay could step aside during crucial moments.
04 / RETURN
I centred the homepage on past streams, with a floating action button to start another.
I took Game Live from concept through execution, presenting detailed proposals to stakeholders including Samsung India’s managing director.
I partnered with development and HQ on timely, accurate releases, UX deliverables and regional content adaptation.
04 / REFLECTION
Some streaming interactions reached patent exploration; my records do not confirm any grants.
I kept asking when each control belonged: before play, during gameplay or broadcasting, or when revisiting a stream.
